Hello there and welcome to my site.

I am a presenter, interviewer and educator in the visual arts and visual/material culture.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

Doctorate (DCA - studio and contemporary history/theory) University of Wollongong, December 2005.

with a Research Assistantship for "Fabrications", an Australian Research Council large discovery grant on the intersection of text (postcolonial and feminist English literature) and the-art-of-textiles.

Masters (MFA) Sculpture, 1991, from the prestigious Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan

BFA (Hons) Sculpture, 1988 from Carnegie Mellon University, Pennsylvania with a first year of liberal arts year at Whittier College, California and pre-college at Otis-Parsons and Emily Carr.

POSITIONS HELD:

Sessional or Casual Lecturer, as well as Visiting Artist or Speaker at Universities and Colleges in USA, UK, Canada, Australia and South America.
